Gold Coast Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy offers effective, rapid and safe solutions for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of spinal pain, sports injuries and pain of musculoskeletal origin such as osteoarthritic joint pain, muscle strain, ligament sprain and tendonitis.

Physio treatmentPhysiotherapy is particularly effective in treatment of spinal pain which, statistically, is known to affect up to 80 % of the population and may include radiating leg pain and/or numbness, pins and needles, burning pain (causalgia) or even, in severe cases, muscular dysfunction.

Our physiotherapists can accurately diagnose the cause(s) of your pain and dysfunction and, if necessary, organise for appropriate x-ray, MRI, or other investigations to support the diagnosis.

Treatment techniques can include spinal mobilisations and manipulations (See home page FAQ & YouTube), spinal traction, electrotherapy modalities including therapeutic ultrasound, trigger point therapy, dry needling, and appropriate rehabilitation exercises enhancing rapid return to full, pain free function.

Private patients do not require a referral and those who have private health insurance can claim a fee rebate at the time of consultation using our HICAPS billing.

Of course we welcome all Veteran Affairs, Work Cover and Motor Vehicle Accident patients. Your GP can provide you with the relevant referral documentation.

Our physiotherapists are highly credentialed, boasting a wide spectrum of postgraduate qualifications, educational and research achievements. They also have extensive sports coverage experience at the highest level of State, National and Olympic competition (Click on “staff” for an individual profile).
